City Owned Facilities
CN Centre
As a sports complex, CN Centre hosts 6,000 seats an is the home of the Western Hockey League's Prince George Cougars. As an entertainment complex the facility is designed to host 2,700 - 5,500 seats. The full NHL sized ice-surface is expandable to Olympic Sized ice and has hosted numerous International, National and provincial sporting events.Coliseum
The Coliseum is host arena for the Prince George Spruce Kings, the city's Junior “A” Hockey Club. This landmark arena seats 1,800 and accommodates activities including lacrosse; roller hockey; ringette and speed skating. The Coliseum is centrally located across the street from the Civic Centre; Four Seasons Leisure Pool and the Two Rivers Art Gallery.
Kin 1, 2, 3 Arenas
The Kin Centre is a versatile complex of three arenas that hosts numerous hockey clubs; figure skating; lacrosse; inline hockey; ball hockey and trade shows. The Kin Centre is the home of the annual Prince George Home Builders Association, Spring Home Show in April as well as the Prince George Exhibition (PGX) in August. This 50,000 square foot complex is ideal for hosting tournaments or trade shows and is located in the heart of Exhibition Park, adjacent to the CN Centre.
Elkscentre Arena
This single arena is located in the picturesque Hart Highway area, the city's northern residential area. This busy arena hosts numerous hockey clubs; figure skating; lacrosse and roller hockey throughout the year and offers plenty of parking.
Masich Place Stadium
Built for the 1990 BC Summer Games this stadium is home to the PG Track and Field Club and features a 400m eight lane competition surface track and all amenities for all athletics disciplines at a National level.
The Stadium seats over 2,000 in a covered area which houses change rooms, washrooms, press box, storage and a concessions area. An outstanding natural turf field is located in the centre of the track and the stadium is fully lit for night use.
PG Aquatic Centre
The Prince George Aquatic Centre is a state of the art facility which features a main tank with 8 lanes and is 52 metres in length with two moveable bulkheads. The bulkheads will allow for two 25 metre short course and one 50 metre long course swimming competitions. A timing booth, electronic timing equipment and touch pads are integrated into the facility.
The main tank has a moveable floor with depths ranging from 0-1.8 metres, in the shallow portion of the tank. The facility also features dive tank with a 10 metre dive tower and has two- one metre and two- three metre springboards and a 5m, 7.5m, and 10m fixed diving platform tower. The dive pool also includes a sparger system and surface rippler.
A fitness facility, meetings rooms, sauna, steam room, hot tub and leisure area are also located in the facility.
Four Seasons Pool
The main pool is a 6 lane - 25 metre pool ideal for length swimming and aquafitness classes. The attached dive tank has 1 and 3 metre springboards. The adjacent tots pool is a warm, shallow water environment for young children, parents and babies to enjoy their aquatic experience.
At the lower end of the facility is a 90 foot long water slide which opens into a leisure pool; swimmers in this pool will enjoy the warmer water and the large spray fountain during public swims. The sauna and swirl pool, next to the leisure pool, are great places to relax after a long day at work or a vigorous work out.
In addition to these pools, Four Seasons Leisure Pool also has a fitness centre downstairs. This area offers customers a variety of workout stations for weight training and toning.
Outdoor Ice Oval - Long Track Speed Skating
The Outdoor Ice Oval facility is a 400m Olympic sized oval located at Exhibition Park. It includes small hockey practice area, picnic tables for changing footwear, and is lit for evening skating. The Outdoor Ice Oval is available through the hard work and dedication of the Outdoor Ice Oval Committee and the City of Prince George and is free to the public.

Rotary Skate Board Park
Rotary Skate Park is a state-of-the-art skate, bike and in-line park located in Carrie Jane Gray Park, just off Massey Drive. This 19,000 sq. ft. park opened in September 2002 and was designed and built by New Line Skateparks Inc. It is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the finest skate parks in BC.
Equestrian Centre
Home to the PG Horse Society this complex includes indoor and outdoor riding areas, horses stables and much more.
Exhibition Gymnastics Centre
Home base for the PG Gymnastics Club this complex includes all of the major apparatus required for a full service gymnastics club. It is also home to the Prince George Exhibition Society Office.
Community Facilities
Northern Sports Centre
The 145,150 square foot facility sits at the entrance of the UNBC campus. It features an elevated 280 metre indoor track, two squash courts, two weight rooms, a meeting room, a 22,000 square foot gymnasium with three side-by-side full basketball courts on maple hardwood floor and seating for 2,000. The field house features two 190 x 90’ fields on FIFA sanctioned Polytan artificial turf under a 40-foot ceiling.
Silvertip Archery Range
National level archery range and 3D target course. Built for 1990 BC Summer Games. Host of several National and Provincial championship events.
PG Rod and Gun Club
Host club of the 1990 BC Summer Games the facility boasts excellent ranges for all shooting disciplines including small bore, air rifle, large bore, shotgun, skeet and handgun.
Willow River - White Water Kayaking
White water kayaking course. National level whitewater course and outstanding variety of rapids just minutes from the City’s downtown core.
Ness Lake - Water Skiing
Provincial level Water Skiing course with docks and washrooms. Built for the 1990 BC Summer Games and conforms to National Standards
Otway Nordic Ski Club
The Otway Nordic Centre, home of the Caledonia Nordic Ski Club, is located minutes west of Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Otway has 30km of machine groomed trails (PB100(2007), PB170(older)) for classic and skating[D techniques. There are 5km of trails which are lit until 9:30pm every evening for night skiing. There is a biathlon range at the Nordic Center.
PG Golf and Curling Club
The Prince George Golf and Curling Club offers an enjoyable test of golf for the low handicapper as well as the weekend golfer. In addition to a championship golf course the club also has 8 sheets of curling ice, 5 racket courts, a driving range and complete dining/lounge facilities. The Club has numerous facilities that help to make it one of the most respected and diversified clubs in northern British Columbia.
Aberdeen Glen Golf Course
Aberdeen Glen Golf Club has been twice nominated as the B.C.P.G.A. facility of the year. One of the best kept secrets in all of BC, Aberdeen Glen Golf Club is sure to provide an enjoyable day for golfers of all skill levels. Course facilities include a driving range, restaurant and pro shop.

Curling Club
PG Golf and Curling Club- 8 sheets of curling ice and seating for 500 is attached to a large clubhouse, restaurant and bar. Change rooms and meetings rooms also attached. The curling history is lengthy going back to 1920. The club has hosted many provincial and national tournaments including the Scott Tournament of Hearts - Women’s Canadian Championship in 2000 and was named "CURLING CLUB OF THE YEAR" by Curl BC.
