Events Prince George
Events Prince George (PG) is an integrated agency of Initiatives Prince George (see http://www.initiativespg.com/), committed to developing Prince George as a premier Provincial, National and International destination for convention and sport tourism through a coordinated approach. Events PG essentially acts as the community’s virtual “bid corporation” through the coordination of key stakeholders to secure events to the City.
Events Prince George can assist groups and individuals in the following ways;
- Coordination and Development of Bids and Proposals
- Research and Feasibility, community Capacity Studies
- Coordination between Private and Public Sectors
- Coordination of key stakeholders for Site inspections, Familiarizations tours
- Presentations
- Planning
- Obtaining letters of Support for the event from key people/organizations
- Attendance Building
- Media Relations and Promotion
- Visitor and delegate information
- Receptions
- Welcome letters
- Pre and Post event evaluations and impacts
