Cover Your Pegs!

Keep the Skatepark open to bikes by preventing damage caused by metal pegs. Rotary Skatepark is one of the few Skate Parks that allows bikes. Don't lose this privilege by not covering your pegs. If you see someone without covered pegs, let them know! Don't be the person who ruins it for everyone else!

Wear your protective gear!

Like many other sports, skateboarding and inline skating carry an element of risk especially since these activities are played on cement not grass. For this reason it makes sense to always wear protective gear and to skate within your ability.

Protective gear, such as closed and slip-resistant shoes, helmets, and specially designed padding, may not fully protect skateboarders from fractures, but its use is recommended. Protective gear can reduce the number and severity of injuries.

Helmets are only useful when the chinstrap is fastened property. The strap should be done up with one or two fingers between the chin and the strap. Knee pads, wrist pads and elbow pads are recommended.
