Did you know...

Estimates show that 60% of the world population is not physically active enough to achieve health benefits. The hazards of inactivity are very clear. Each year in our country, physical inactivity results in more than 21,000 premature deaths and costs at least $2.1 billion in direct health care costs. Insufficient physical activity is a serious nationwide problem.

Research has repeatedly shown that engaging in regular physical activity reduces the risk of premature death, heart disease, obesity, high blood pressure, adult-onset diabetes, osteoporosis, stroke, depression and colon cancer. Physical activity can be enjoyable, inexpensive and easy; and, anything involving movement - even if it isn't vigorous - results in positive benefits to health and well-being. So get out there and make the MOVE TO HEALTH!!!
