2004 Mountain Pine Beetle Tree Program
TDB Consultants Inc. has been awarded the 2004 Mountain Pine Beetle (IBM) Tree Program for the City of Prince George. They have developed a web page for field updates and information on beetle tree reporting: http://www.tdb.bc.ca/beetleprogram.htm
The City along with the Ministry of Forests are working together to try and minimize the impact of the mountain pine beetle within city limits. 45% of forest cover in Prince George is at risk of being effected by the mountain pine beetle. Residents are requested to assist in managing the infestation with the City by removing infested trees from their property.
