Tennis Courts/Lessons
The City of Prince George has over 70 tennis courts located throughout the city. In early April, depending on the weather, the courts will be prepared for community use. Courts located in the bowl area are usually available for play first, followed by the outlying areas up to two weeks later. If you would like to find out where courts are located in your area call the Community Services Department at 250-561-7600.
Lessons
The Prince George Tennis Club hosts Spring and Summer Tennis Lessons for all ages and abilities! All tennis lessons are taught by certified tennis instructors and the maximum student to instructor ration is 8:1.
All lessons will take place at the Prince George Tennis Club located at 2833 Recreation Place, across Ferry Avenue from the Great Canadian Superstore. For club event and membership, lesson information, visit the Tennis Club website (www.pgtennis.ca) or call the PG Tennis Club at 564-5683. To register online, visit the website, but you can still call the Tennis Club and go down in person too.
