Welcome to the City of Prince George 2008 Civic Election website for Voter Information. On Saturday, November 15, 2008 the citizens of Prince George will choose one Mayor and eight Councillors. Advance voting opportunities will also be provided on November 5, 2008 and November 12, 2008.

Notice of Election by Voting
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the electors of the City of Prince George that an Election by Voting is necessary to elect one Mayor and eight Councillors to fill the offices of members of Council of the City of Prince George. The persons nominated as candidates at the Election by Voting and for whom the votes will be received for a three-year term commencing December 2008 and terminating in December 2011 are listed here.
Notice of Advance and Mail Ballot Voting Opportunities
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the electors of the City of Prince George that an Election by Voting is necessary to elect one Mayor and eight Councillors to fill the offices of members of Council of the City of Prince George. Electors eligible to vote in the Local Government Elections on General Voting Day Saturday, November 15, 2008, but unable to vote on that day, will have two opportunities to vote in advance of that date.

Prince George voting places will be open on Saturday November 15 2008 from 8:00am to 8:00pm. You may vote at any of the voting locations.

Advance voting
Advance polls will be held in the 2nd Floor Conference Room, City Hall, 1100 Patricia Boulevard, Prince George, BC from 8:00am to 8:00pm on Wednesday November 5 2008 and Wednesday November 12 2008.
Mail ballot voting
As provided in the Local Government Act, the only electors who may vote by mail ballot are those persons who have a physical disability, illness, or injury that affects their ability to vote at another voting opportunity, and those persons who expect to be absent from the municipality on general voting day and at the times of all advance voting opportunities.
