The City of Prince George has paper copies of the complete candidate information package available on the 5th floor of City Hall, and posted the complete candidate information package in an electronic PDF version for download below. Please check back for changes to the package prior to completing and submitting your package. Any updates will be made to the electronic and paper versions. The changes made from the time of original posting of information to the close of the nomination period on October 10th, 2008 will be noted on this website.

Key Dates

Political Signs:

Political signs for the purposes of the municipal election must comply with the City of Prince George Sign Bylaw, and are permitted only within the municipal election period: from the beginning of the nomination period on September 30, 2008 to the end of Election Day, November 15, 2008. The Local Government Act also further prohibits any advertising (including political signs) within 100 meters or visible from where general or advance voting is taking place, on the day of voting. Complete information on the permitting and placement of political signs is included within the 2008 Election Nomination Package.
