The next Civic Election will take place on Saturday, November 15, 2008. Civic elections occur every three years in accordance with the Local Government Act. This act is a provincial act and applies to all communities in British Columbia.

On Saturday, November 15, 2008, the citizens of Prince George will choose one Mayor and eight Councillors. Advance voting opportunities will also be provided on November 5, 2008, and November 12, 2008.
